Did you know this about Pembrokeshire?

The Pembrokeshire Coast

Did you know that Pembrokeshire was voted second best coastal destination in the world by both National Geographic readers and Lonely Planet? One of them put New Zealand first and the other Newfoundland; this must mean Pembrokeshire is number one overall eh?

On top of this, Pembrokeshire has more Blue Flag beaches than any other county in the UK (and has had for a number of years running now), the highest number of beaches with a green flag award and the highest number of beaches with a seaside award. That means our water quality here is second to none in the UK!

On top of these great things, Pembrokeshire is home to one of the largest colonies of Atlantic Grey seals in the British Isles and in the Autumn the beaches will be full of them giving birth to their pups.

So, if the great line up coaches working at the Pembrokeshire Sea Kayak Festival hasn’t been enough to tempt you, you now have quite a number of other reasons to attend. Come and see why it’s Britain’s ONLY coastal national park.

Remember, you only have until the 14th October to click HERE and snap up your place.

See you in a few weeks?
